As the level of knowledge about climate change improves, it is possible to make healthier projections about its future impacts. As clouds clear about the consequences of climate change, it becomes clear that possible impacts could be more severe than predicted. In the latest report, published by Four Twenty Seven, the business unit of Moody's company that produces analytical information on climate risks, and addressing global climate disasters, 57% of the world economy and 41% of the population will be exposed to floods by 2040, in one third of existing agricultural lands. It is pointed out that there will be severe water stress.
